they tried to build their stadium onto some land that they didn’t own. if they stayed within their permits, and on land they owned, this wouldn’t have been a problem. now, they will blame israel, rather than own up to their shoddy construction work.

How ironic that Israel waits until the stadium is almost complete before issuing the possiblity that they might have to demolish it... They couldn’t of figured that out when the construction began more than 3 years ago?

Land they didn’t own? Israel builds illegal(according to international law, and every other government in the world including the US)settlements through-out the west bank. So now an international organization building a stadium for palestinians on palestinian land gets shut down by israel, the occupier. This is utter maddness.
