Asia Album: Afghanistan launches anti-polio vaccination campaign

KABUL, Sept. 20 (Xinhua) -- The Ministry of Public Health of Afghanistan's Taliban-run caretaker government initiated a nationwide four-day vaccination campaign against polio on Monday.

"The four-day vaccination campaign covers 9.9 million children under 5 in the country's 34 provinces," the ministry said in a statement.
