Armenia publishes import data via Azerbaijan routes

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia's State Revenue Committee and Ministry of Economy have published data on imports transported via Azerbaijan from Russia and Kazakhstan between November 2025 and April 15, 2026. They also presented figures on imports from Azerbaijan to Armenia through Georgia.

A total of 26,295 tons of goods were delivered to Armenia from Russia and Kazakhstan via Azerbaijan, while 9,337 tons of fuel were imported from Azerbaijan.

Officials emphasized that the results of regional cooperation and peace are already tangible, creating new opportunities for economic development.

According to the Customs Service, goods first entered Armenia via railway transit through Azerbaijan on November 6, 2025.

"From Russia and Kazakhstan, 24,865 tons of wheat, 1,362 tons of fertilizers, and 68 tons of buckwheat were imported. From Azerbaijan to Armenia, via Georgia and by rail, between December 2025 and April 15, 2026, a total of 9,337 tons of Azerbaijani-origin fuel were imported with a total customs value of 7.2 million U.S. dollars. Of this, 5,398 tons were diesel fuel valued at 4.3 million dollars, and 3,939 tons were gasoline valued at 2.9 million dollars," the agencies said.
